“I took these photos”
We are proud to be the main sponsor of the project “I took this photo”, which started with “I dream of a camera”.
The aim of the project is to bring knowledge, skills and behavior changes to students affected by moderate-severe intellectual disability, to acquire the habit of working together, to make students individuals who participate in life and express themselves in different ways.
Thanks to the support we provided as Gentas, the photography club, consisting of 16 students, took photos with the parents of the students in Eymir Lake. A photography exhibition consisting of photographs of Dikmen Valley and the outdoors has been prepared.
Being able to touch the dreams of children and win their love is a happiness for us, above all else. Endless thanks to our school, our project team and everyone who put their effort into making us feel this pride.
FORESTS ARE OUR FUTURE…
As the Gentas family, we distributed 10,000 saplings at Ankara Ankamall Shopping Mall on 22.03.2019, with the slogan “Bring Me Together with the Land, Life with Nature”, and by saying #fidanlarhayatbuluyor, within the scope of the #ormanhaftasıetkinliği.
Endless thanks to all our visitors who brought our saplings together with the soil.
26-29 September 2018, First International Forest Products Conference in Turkey
Karadeniz Technical University held the International Forest Products Congress as the first international congress.
In the congress attended by 6 invited speakers from the USA, Canada, China and European countries, the problems of the sector and potential solution proposals on a country basis were discussed.
We are proud and happy to be the sponsor of this congress, which is held at an international level and makes a great contribution to the forest products industry.
Gentas Employees - Losev Healthy Life
Since its establishment, LOSEV has made numerous successes in the fight against cancer and continues to fight cancer on every front in the world and all over Turkey. Gentas Group employees also attended the “HEALTHY LIFE WALK” which is one of the many events held in this sense and traditionally held all over Turkey every year.
LOSEV volunteers who participated in the event to give morale to children with leukemia and families gathered at the entrance of Eymir Lake and walked to the picnic area by the lake accompanied by the slogans “LOSEV, you are all of us” and “Say stop to cancer”.
Gentas Multi-Program Anatolian High School
Gentas, in addition to contributing to the economic development of Turkey, also attaches importance to community development with its social responsibility projects.
The greatest condition for raising the level of development of the countries and reaching the desired levels is to create an effective and widespread sensitivity in the society for education. Prior prevention of many social problems through education and the creation of qualified and skilled workforce make significant benefit to the countries in terms of resource utilization. Within the scope of this responsibility, Gentas is building a 12-classroom, multi-program high school under the protocol signed with the Ministry of National Education in the Mengen district of Bolu to support the increase of education and training standards of 360 students and to reintegrate them into the society as exemplary individuals.
