GENTAS Milestones
GENTAS was founded in 1972 in the Mengen district of Bolu province.
In 1979, GENTAS started Werzalit production.
It was listed on Borsa Istanbul in 1991.
With the commissioning of the first HPL press in 1997, GENTAS started to produce the first HPL laminate.
With the commissioning of the first CPL press in 1998, GENTAS became the first factory in Turkey to produce both HPL and CPL laminates under a single roof.
In 2000, GENTAS purchased Bolu Seka Laminate Factory and started to operate it under the name of Gentas Bolu Industry.
In 2014, GENTAS bought the Liri Industriale Factory and brand, which is one of the first laminate manufacturers in Europe and Italy.
In 2022, GENTAS merged with GBS through the acquisition of its subsidiary and incorporated 100% of its shares into GENTAS A.S.
